I accepted a position in IT management for a firm located in Germany. I am familiar somewhat with German culture and people, but not so much with what to expect day to day in the workplace – much less in a management position. My position here in the US is full of politics, backstabbing and laziness towards project management and work in general. Am I in for a change or not?

I do a little accounting and everything else for this payroll company. Will I have a better chance at landing a job compared to working as a teller? Or is being a teller better?

I’m planning on applying for a finance position in May after I receive my degree in finance.

I started working as a patient coordinator for a plastic surgeon about one year ago. I have taken on so much more work than detailed in my job description and have actually taken over the marketing for the practice. I know that my practice values me very much, and I want to ask for a raise in a few weeks. How much should I ask for, percentage wise? Does anyone have some great tips on putting together a proposal? I remember my finance professor telling me about these three tests in finance you can take to improve your resume. They’re all very difficult and have to be taken a year apart.
