I have a Bachelor degree in business marketing!

“Revenue Management”, if it exists as a recognised discipline, could cover any number of business activities in telecoms companies that affect revenue generation or protection. Areas such as NPD, sales, marketing, fraud, churn, recognition, business process management, etc. But does it have a broadly accepted definition and scope?

I’m not talking about someone who deals with anothers investements. Just personal money management. I’d like to explore it as a career path, though I have no professional experience, just personal.

I’m thinking of buying a rental, but I don’t want to hassle with renters, etc., and I’m wondering what it usually costs, and what all they do?
For instance, if my renter calls to report a leaky toilet, do I get the call & set up a repairman, or does the management company do that?
(obviously I realize I pay for the repair…)
