Is there a way to find out if a company has been sold or is listed for sale without asking upper management or a lawyer?

I work with the elderly and fear that some of the money that is suppose to go for the home is disappearing.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to start a drafted memo to upper management regarding employee benefits (health insurance, time off, retirement/savings plan, and work/life benefits)?

1. Draft a memo to upper management detailing the benefits available to employees include health insurance, time off, retirement/savings plan, and one other work/life benefit.

2. Explain to management the primary strategic consideration involved in managing the proposed benefits program.

3. Identify an additional strategic consideration related specifically to one of the benefits in your proposed program?

I work as a cashier at Kroger, however I am interested in management… What are some things I can do to point me in that direction?

1. The Ford Explorer and similar SUVs sold like hotcakes and each one was sold for significantly more than it cost to make, resulting in huge profits. Where did all the money go?

2. Has the upper management thought about taking a pay cut? I bet there are enough of them making 10 million to 100 million who could instead be paid 100,000 to 1 million, so that they could bail themselves out.

Assume that you–as a supervisor in a manufacturing plant–have heard rumors that the union, which has been virtually inactive until now, is planning to take complaints to upper management.
Explain how this plan also represents your responsibilty to the employees union.
