Do property management companies sub out office cleaning or do they use their maintenance staff for this?
I recently started a cleaning business in MD cleaning offices and restaurants. One of the biggest challenges I’m facing as I prospect for new business is that everyone seems to already have cleaning services provided by their property management company. I need to know if those companies sub the work out, meaning I could try to get in with them, or is it a waste of time?

Why do so many people have complete ineptitude about managing their finances?
It really is sad. I just browsed the “credit” section in yahoo and about half the questions posted on the first page are asking how to get loans with the poorest credit rating possible. How could so many people be such slaves to debt and are so incapable of living within their means?

Would people work in banking/finance industry more likely to success in their own investments than others?
Because of their insight and knowledge of the business, investment options, and trends? Just curious. I would imagine ordinary folks may be able to be money savvy to a certain level over time but probably still no equal to the pros who breathe finance/accounting/banking work night and day.
cybe’s made a very interesting point. I guess “ignorant” could be a “blessing” in the investment world LOL? Perhaps the more one knows, the more confidence, the more risk one may take, and the more money one may make – or lose?
Can a buyer change their financing type after an offer is accepted?
Is a buyer entitled to change their financing type after their offer has been accepted by a BANK or Private Seller? If after the initial offer is made the buyer finds that they are able to obtain better financing than they originally wanted to utilize, can the buyer change the financing to any loan program type, as long as it doesn’t affect the closing? I.E. Conventional to FHA or VA or any other loan programs available? Is this grounds for the offer being rejected, even if it doesn’t affect the closing being on the date agreed?
Can property management collect their fee (from us as renters) for a month we are no longer living there?
We rent our home through a property management company and we have been informed that the property is for sale. The property manager, who is also the listing agent, would like to property to be vacant for showings and has given us a thirty day notice to terminate the lease 1 month early, if we agree. We really want to move and have found a better place to live, however, he now stipulates that we would have to agree to have his property management fee for one month taken out of our security deposit. We are not terminating the lease and shouldn’t the owner be responsible for this amount?
