Equity investors buy into your business and management rather than lending you the money. We put in an offer on a short sale on day 2 of it’s listing. The bank informed us they were ready to accept our offer, however, they have to wait on a release from the previous bidders. Their bid was accepted but their finances fell through. Does anyone have any information on how long a bank has this obligation? Is there anything we can do to move the process forward.
