Hi! My daughter is interested in becoming a sales marketing consultant. At least she thinks she is. She is only 13 right now, and I think she heard the term on a TV show or movie. Since we want her to have the knowledge to achieve any goal she has, we figured we would find out what was involved in becoming a sales marketing consultant so she could be prepared…At least until she changes her mind again…This week its a sales marketing consultant, next week it will be a ballerina!

I have a year experience selling copiers and graduated with a religion degree…I want to do something in a business field like marketing or inside sales for a bigger company, but what else can I do to strengthen my resume without getting an MBA right away. Are there extension classes I can take?

I’ve been using ACT and I’m hiring someone who is great in many ways but does not know anything about ACT & will have to be trained. If there is something better out there now, I want to get it and she can learn it and train me. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

What sites have you found of people in the consultation business? People that advise sales people, marketing pieces, advertising campaigns that are effective and reputable?

I know there’s a difference between the two, but what exactly is it? Isn’t marketing a form of sales?

I keep finding these “too good to be true” small marketing companies that do nothing but sales and are commission based. I’m looking for marketing communications and research in chicago.
