Just curious what marketing folks out there think is an equitable salary for a special case of combining several roles into one job within an in-house marketing department. These roles include production of print, mail and email jobs + graphic design + coordination of all projects (trafficking)? The department serves 3 related companies, each having their own marketing communication specialist. This role would coordinate all creative services staff to complete jobs (trafficking) as well as handle all vendor relationships (sending jobs to print and mail house), plus provide graphic design for print and web. The experience level is 6 years as graphic designer and production plus bachelors degree, (Liberal arts but not fine arts or design).

I know it’s a big field but would anyone know the average starting salary for someone with a degree in marketing?

Recently, I’ve been looking at a management job at my employer. I currently have a “grunt labor” position that pays only about 1-2 thousand more a year since overtime has been wiped out. The position means I won’t work outside all year in the elements, the company provides management with a cell phone, so I won’t have to use mine anymore, and there are some people above me that will be ready for retirement in a year or so. I’ve never had a salary job before, and wonder those of you who do, can let me know what the benifits of it would be compared to an hourly scale. My wife worries about the horrors of working 50+ hours a week and being uncompensated for it, but I’ve never really seen the person who was in the job last work more than 45/ week. I think personally that I need to think of moving up in the company and establishing a carrer instead of “just another job”. What do you think?

I’m from Malaysia but I’m keen to work overseas as I believe the wages in other countries are much higher than in my own country. What is the average wages in India for an Internet-related position such as Internet Marketing Associate?

I want to find out the average salary range for a recent university graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing.

I ‘ve been told $36,000 Cdn. So when I had to state my expected salary for the position in the interview, I always said the range of $36K to 39K Cdn, having done the industry research.

Is it too high?
Someone told me $30,000-39,000 is the range for someone starting out with a degree.
I’m confused. Please help me out.
