Will I be hired to manage a coffee shop or restaurant if I have no previous management experience?

I’m in college with a double major of marketing and management. My goal is to work for a major coffee company or restaurant chain after I graduate. I have no previous management experience, but I have worked in foodservice for 3 years– two as part of the waitstaff, one as a prep cook. Is there hope for me?

What is the protocol for an open house at a restaurant for a management position?

I am currently looking for a job and I have found several listings for open houses for local restaurants for management positions. I have never been to one of these, so I would like to know basically how they work and what I should expect.
