i’m writing a 10 page paper on marketing strategies but after doing a little research i feel like my topic is weak… i first wanted to compare and contrast internet and television marketing and conclude which is better, but now i feel like they are both similar and not much to talk about….

can anyone help me figure out something more CONTROVERSIAL? anything to do with marketing a product. thanks!

I am taking Marketing this semester in graduate school. I have only previously taken one marketing class, in my undergraduate program, which was a survey class. There were no in depth discussions of any topics. I need a topic that I can do research on and enjoy, which may actually be impossible (since I’m an accountant) and have absolutely no interest in Marketing. All help is very much appreciated.

I need to write a paper on what is the better marketing research technique. Quantitative in nature or Qualitative in nature?

I’m about to start my MSc thesis soon. I am looking to enter the insurance arena (yup, I’ve got the actuarial career in mind!), but am stuck doing a Business Management and IT degree. Hv decided to make the switch soon, and plan to use my present thesis as a springboard. However, my University will only allow me to choose a topic that involves both or either of my primary subjects, namely, Business Management and IT. Can you think of any topics that could help me make this leap? Perhaps, something to do with management issues in insurance, or how IT can help solve a practical insurance issue? Any suggestions…?
