I bought my house by financing through the owner (Owner financing) because my credit was not great. I have never had anything repossesed or any major credit problems. Yet my credit is not all that great. I am wondering if it has to do with not financing my house through a mortgage company.

My husband and I have signed a TAA (Texas Apartment Association) lease contract with a management team and the owner of the property we are renting switched teams, but we haven’t signed a new contract yet. I was just wondering if any of you had any legal advice on this.

I was just informed that my property management company is canceling their contract with the owner of my apartment. What does this mean for the rental agreement since it refers specifically to the property management company as the landlord? Apparently the owner has not been paying them. At the same time I received a notice that my water is going to be shut off because the owner is not paying the home owner’s association fees.
