Question: Business Administration Vs. Management Degree?
I wanted to major in Business Administration at my school, but they do not offer that major. The closest thing to it is Management, and they have mandatory minors “Enterpronourship”, “Human Resource” and “Operations Management”. I am thinking of taking a major in Management with a “specialization” in Operations Management (or Human Resource, I can’t decide). Now, I know that Business Administration majors sometimes go into fields like finance. Would I have less oppertunities presented to me when I get out of college if I take a Management major rather then going to a different school with a Business Administration major? I know this is a long question but I’d really appreciate a few answers, thank you!

Answer:

Answer by Average Joe
Your degree only takes you soo far…its hard work that raises you in the ranks…its degrees like this that are so close tht it really doesn’t even matter which one you pick…because in the end you’ll get the job you want thru hardwork and dedication..

Question: what the explanation for this article??its all about human resources in management?
Human resource management (HRM) is the strategic and coherent approach to the management of an organization’s most valued assets – the people working there who individually and collectively contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the business.[1] The terms “human resource management” and “human resources” (HR) have largely replaced the term “personnel management” as a description of the processes involved in managing people in organizations.[1] Human Resource management is evolving rapidly. Human resource management is both an academic theory and a business practice that addresses the theoretical and practical techniques of managing a workforce.

Answer:

Answer by Miles C
Personnel Departments are now called Human Resource Department
