We really need to upgrade to a bigger house. Recently our family expanded to 4 kids in a 3 bedroom house. Our credit hasn’t been the greatest, but in the past month we have taken care of any outstanding debt on our credit reports, caught up on our current house payment (we were one month behind), paid off half of our one credit card bill and will be timely on all payments, and are current on all other finances. How long will it take for our credit scores to start improving enough to qualify for a home loan?

I am trying to sell my house and obviously the market isn’t great. I signed a contract with a real estate agent but don’t feel like I’m getting the true focus I should be from her. Should I take matters into my own hands and prepare marketing flyers or other tools to try and get my house sold?

I am renting with an option to purchase. I paid a $2000 down payment to the owner and I have been paying $575 every month on time since. I have to get financing to pay him off, with the $2000 deducted from th selling price. What type of financing do I need being that I have been living in the residence for over a year?

Why would my property management ask who is living in the house with me?
I have a mortgage with a certain bank. I was bit behind payments. I just received a letter from a property management company ask me how many people over 18 is living in my house. Why would they ask that and what is it all about?

I know my residential phone was not available for a few months…and its back up. Why are they asking me this?

How does that work, i don’t get it

I would like send homeowners marketing material to advertise my business. I am in the mortgage Insurance business. I am currently reside in Toronto-Hamilton area.

I’m looking to do some major rennovations on my house and figuring out the best way to finance it has been racking my brain. I just can’t figure out the pros & cons between refinancing, 2nd mortgages, home equity line of credits, etc.

A little background on the house, It is located in North NJ in a very high demand area. I bought the house over 6 years ago for $215k, it’s currently valued around $380k. Our current Mortgage is around $175k. I estimate my renovation to cost around $200k-$250k. We plan to be in this house for a long time. We’re looking to add a 2 car garage, extending the living room, redoing the kitchen and adding a master bedroom.

any advice on what direction I should head in and pifalls to look out for would be greatly appreciated.

The buyer for our home just backed out and we have to close next Friday on the house we had made an offer on. We don’t have enough cash on hand without our equity in this house to make the down payment. Is there anyway we can get a loan to make the down payment so we can move ahead with the purchase. I would rather not get a bridge or finance 100%.

Ok, this is starting to get rather confusing. I am looking to buy a home in a surprisingly cheap neighborhood. The house I am interested in purchasing is under $50,000. My credit qualifies me for a bad credit loan, but no one wants to finance for such a small amount. I am definately trying to live within my means and do not necessarily want to purchase a higher value home just because I can. Does anyone have any idea where I can finance such a house even though my credit is tarnished (but getting fixed due to multiple discrepencies)? I know there are different requirements depending on the state. My state is PA, and I am first time homebuyer.
