Since you seem to be questioning it, does that mean you don’t want the Government to plan for contingencies in case of dire emergencies? That order was executed by JFK at the height of the cold war, when it was thought a nuclear war had a high likelihood of happening. Why wouldn’t the government plan for such eventualities?

I have 5-7 years of marketing and sales experince in India. I have experince in the field of IT, communication, garments, advertising and media, finance and investments. It sounds like Marketing Coordinator is lower than Marketing Executive.

I work for a big company where Management positions are a different path than technical or professional positions. Executives who join the company have already lot of experience in previous positions. I am working in a professional, technical area, and to aspire to move to executive management position from my current position is not realistic, I think. How to get promoted to executive management? Do I need an MBA? Would that help?
I cannot afford a 1st level university (Stanford and the like). I perhaps could take some obscure MBA, or I am lucky, a not-so-bad MBA… please advice.
