I need to find a program that can manage customers (for instance, keep track of their information as well as all interactions with them). I also need it to track sales and inventory using a bar-code system.

I’m writing a research report about customer service at a call center and one of the requirements is to write about crm and I have no idea what it is or how to apply it to a call center.

We run a small plumbing business and have numerous customers, many are repeat. What is a decent piece of software to keep a record of our clients?

I want to be able to do something like type in a last name, and be able to pull up the record on who and where they live, and possibly like work done before.

I’ve been using ACT and I’m hiring someone who is great in many ways but does not know anything about ACT & will have to be trained. If there is something better out there now, I want to get it and she can learn it and train me. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

I just got offered a job at Vector Marketing, and I’ve been doing my research online about the job duties. But all I can really find how they go around to people doors and sell products.

I work for a small construction/remodeling company, and after 25 years in the business, they want to update paper files to an easily accessible computer database. I thought about QuickBooks, but I don’t need all the financial management stuff, just the customer/job management (the materials used, when, where, who we did it for, who worked the job, ect). And I don’t want to put all that info onto separate spreadsheets. Any suggestions of software of some sort?
