As a junior in Marketing, I would like to know peoples’ thoughts on the idea of taking psychology credits or even attempting a dual major of Marketing and Psychology? Would having some psychology background provide a significant edge when going into a field such as marketing/consumer preference research, or would it be a better plan to go for more marketing related job experience?

I will be going to school full time and I’m looking for something that will allow me to work full time to start out and part time after January. I have 13 years of work experience, 5 of those in management and 2 of the 5 in General Management. All from the restaurant industry.
