Question: Why Are Activists Now Saying A Free College Education Is An Illegals Human Right?
WESTWOOD – About 200 students and immigrants’ rights protesters shut down a section of Wilshire Boulevard in front of the Federal Building today to rally in support of a federal measure that would make it easier for illegal immigrants to become citizens.

The rally was organized by several UCLA students and other protesters to show their support for the DREAM act, bipartisan legislation that “creates a conditional path to citizenship” for young people, according to their website.

Under the act, undocumented young people have to graduate college or complete two years of military service to gain citizenship, the website stated.

The students also protested Arizona’s new anti-illegal immigration law that empowers police to check on the immigration status of suspects they stop for other reasons.

Demonstrators blocked traffic along Wilshire Boulevard, marching in a circle. Police closed streets around the Federal Building, and motorists were advised to find alternate routes into Westwood.

“I am upholding the legacy of the civil rights movement, when many people were denied their human rights, one being the right to an education,” said Charlene Gonzalez, one of the protestors Another protestor, UCLA student Andrea Ortega, said, “I am doing this so that students will no longer be terrorized by legislation like SB1070 in Arizona, and not have to go to school in fear that their families are deported back home.”

The group did not have a permit to hold their rally, and the LAPD got a call around 10:45 a.m. saying an immigrants’ rights demonstration was under way.

Officer April Harding said police had “sufficient resources” at the scene to maintain order during the demonstration at Wilshire Boulevard and Veteran Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol advised motorists to use alternate routes into Westwood, as traffic had been backed up onto the 405 in both directions near the Wilshire Boulevard exits.

Where do you see the “free college education is a right” Under the act, undocumented young people have to graduate college meaning they cannot afford it and we taxpayers will have to pay it.No Mexican is going into the Military when the college can be free…

complete two years of military service to gain citizenship—I think is a good idea–the college would fall on the tax payers.

What are some majors in college that i can get if i want to work with wildlife…..not the usual possum,raccoon,skunk type….but more like lion,elephant,tiger,and other exotic animals!???? I want especially to work with primates or big cats????

Also….i was on Google and i typed in wildlife rehabilitation online colleges…and the i clicked on a college and it said click on the field most interested in and there was nothing to do with animals…But it did say “Human resources” and Human ____sumthing i cant remember….But what is Human resources??

Like you want to work in a zoo? Or are you thinking more like a biologist or veterinarian? There are various different majors you might be looking for depending on where you intend to end up.

Human resources is the management of the people within a company or organization (ie payroll, hiring, etc.)

Question: Life in America, College, Job?
This is a continuation to the one I posted before this – Please share your thoughts:

People say America is the place to come for money and business, and damn, theyre right!! You can come here and make products that don’t work, charge too much, and nobody will tell you to stop. Look at these companies like Super Duper Pooper Scooper, that go to people’s houses and clean up animal crap….why are these companies not bankrupt?? Do people not know how to clean up after their own animals??? Or all these exercise products like ab trimmer, ab roller, perfect push up…..do u not know how to do a push up on your own??? Or…all these medical procedures here in the states that cost 30K, you can do in Europe for HALF the price. Or worst of all, car insurance. You pay one or two thousand a year on car insurance (maybe more), and the moment you get into an accident, some will kick you out, or just raise your rates. That’s ridiculous. If you get sick and go to the doctors office, the health insurance pays for it. So if your car has a problem, why wont car insurance pay for it? I say car insurance should start paying for car problems too. Why not? You pay so much for it!

If theres anything ive learned in my years of existence on this earth, its that people get dumber by the day. Watch the news, EVERYDAY, someones been stabbed, shot. EVERYDAY theres at least 30 accidents because people dont know how to drive and are too impatient. EVERYDAY, roads are packed no matter where you go, even on weekends, because people dont know the meaning of “stay home and save your money”, instead they all gotta go out and spend. EVERY month theres a school shooting because people dont know how to treat one another. I mean come on people, GROW UP! People need to start questioning who their real friends are. Before they made tons of friends, they were smart. Then they made tons of friends, and started getting into stupid shit. A true friend, wont get you into stupid shit.

WHY is it, that America is one of the ONLY countries where people make a huge deal about education…YET, we are the only country where over half its people are in debt, over half its people are stressed, taking medication for various stress disorders, over half its people are overweight, the divorce rate is skyrocket, the suicide rate is skyrocket, the homicide rate is skyrocket, our unemployment rate is ridiculous. We are also the only country where people work over 50 hours a week. ..explain that to me? At such a young age, people should be ENJOYING their lives, not working 60 hours a week! But of course most of you dont think about this, because you’re too busy thinking about when the next time you’re getting drunk is, or some other unproductive shit.

Here in America, all we do is work. WORK WORK WORK WORK WORK. What kind of life is Monday thru Friday, 9-5? Thats you’re entire day! 5 days a week! For a company who will probably just lay you off a few years before you retire so u dont receive full pension. Companies dont give a damn about their employees, all this “human resources” is BS. They say “we care about our employees, come to us when you have a problem”. No, the moment you go to your human resources to complain about a colleague, the next day you’ll get fired. It happened to me twice! Thats why i stay away from the office job world.

Friends…like I said before, people need to question who their real friends are. Any friend who gets you into drama, trouble, drunken party lifestyle, drugs, thinking like a dumbass…is obviously not your friend, they don’t give a damn about your well being. I know how party drunks think, because I used to be one. I just sat there one day asking myself, what kinda friend lets his/her friend drink too much and act like a moron? I left the scene, and within weeks, these so-called friends of mine completely forgot my name…(which I guarantee, is what will happen to most of you if you do the same). Before people made tons of friends, they had a brain, common sense, street smarts. Afterwords, they didn’t. They started getting into shit that even a 5 year old would say “is stupid”. But many of you don’t think its stupid, because its “fun”. And for some reason, many people don’t seem to know how to have fun, without being stupid. Id know, I used to be one. Seriously, don’t let these so-called friends dictate your life, especially since most of them will be long gone by the time you hit 35. I know way too many people with Masters, PhDs, etc…who messed up big time because they made terrible decisions, and are now working shit jobs. Im sure those people LOVE their friends now. Sure, obviously now I don’t have as many friends as before, but the friends I do have, actually give a shit about me. Nobody cares what kinda car you drive, how much money you make, etc…they want to be around fun people (and like ive said, “fun” to many people, means doing something stupid). I really have no interest anymore in degrading myself.

It’s a fact…that
that about 80% of people who are totally extroverted, have loads of friends, etc….only have it because they are fake. They go out acting like one person, go home acting like another. They put on an act when they go out, and the day theyre in serious trouble, nobody knows what the hell to do. And dating, oh please don’t get me started on how dumb both genders are. How superficial, shallow they are, how they expect way too much, judge horribly, expect to meet a top model, then wonder why they keep getting hurt. To make a long story short, the divorce rate is high for a reason, and I advise people usually, to stay away from dating unless the person they meet is the most DIFFERENT, unusual, odd person alive (aka…pretty damn smart, has common sense, a brain….aka…someone you don’t see often).
Sure you last years in a relationship, but that doesn’t mean he/she is faithful. All guys know the easiest way to get a girl is to tell her exactly what she wants to hear, bullshit, be fake, and be hot. All girls know (or will eventually get older and finally realize) that all guys want is sex…and any who denies that is a liar. I mean, aren’t most of you tired of drama, trouble, games, bullshit? People really don’t know what theyre doing. I blame the media, the media is what makes you think that you need a rich model…you’re just the dumb one who believes everything the media tells you…heck, people believe everything they hear. Ive always been a fan of, “believe nothing of what u hear, and half of what you see”.
Whether you agree or not, im sure most of you will totally agree by the time you hit 40. At this young age, the truth really hurts. When people told me this, I too didn’t wanna believe it, but I finally grew up and accepted it. Unfortunately being someone who thinks straight, is just “themselves”, doesn’t change who they are for anybody, has common sense….these days…results in being overlooked and not having a million ‘friends’. But, id rather have 2-3 REAL friends, than 100 fake ones who are just gonna ditch me one day. People are only your friends til they fuck you over, or find someone more fun to chill with. Unfortunately nowadays, you cant really be “yourself”. Sad, but true.

You can send all the hate mail you want, but that just kinda proves what I say is right. And im not changing for anybody.

Those tv advertised commercials are often marketing ploys but you and I know better than to fall for those types of gimmics. Same thing with your spiel on friends actually… it is really up to us to live and learn and choose those whom we surround ourselves with. People change and people self-preserve (a nice way of putting ‘everyone intrinsicly looks out for themself first). There are a lot of things to complain about in our lives…but …BUT …we have freedom. Freedom comes with the responsibility to learn and grow and choose. Its really not that bad to be free but it does take some work.

To offer the supportive advice or ‘answer’ you’re maybe waiting for… we have to look out for ourselves and filter out what we learn is negative. We each need to ignore all of those bad things and make a goal or two that we really belive in and strive to meet that goal. This will bring a feeling of rising above the overgrown chaotic nonesense out there by keeping busy working towards something that you DO believe is worth it.

I am a junior pursuing a bachelors degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing. It is very important that I find a marketing internship for the summer. The only experience that I have in marketing is from class projects. I would like to gain more experience in the marketing field. I am very ambitious, and I am also a quick learner.

Im a senior in high school and i am thinking about studying marketing in college if i get a masters do you know if i could get jobs in any types of companies and how much the salary is starting. Im also really intrested in the music industry do you think its possible to get a job on a record label promoting ideas

What college major would best prepare me?

I am really horrible at managing my money, and having to be fairly independent in college is not helping the situation. I work to make personal spending money, but I will eventually have to start paying off student loans, plus every so often something important that I have to pay for comes up. How do I handle my paychecks so that I am not blowing them within a week?

i know basically what i get out of a degree in business management but what would my life out of college be like? what would i be doing on a day to day basis? what kind of steps would i have to take to really get myself positioned with a good career? what does that come out to in years?

This includes only the countries: USA, Canada, Hong Kong and Australia. Which university is the best for a marketing course for a career in advertising? Please give around a rank of 5+ universities so I am able to see a variety of universities.

I’ve been searching and looking but I keep getting results on colleges. I don’t want to know the colleges with the best Business Management. If anyone can tell me the total years necessary for a degree in Business in Management & how many are for each degree(Bachelors, Masters exc..) Id be soo thankful!

Oh and if there’s any there information on this topic that you could share please do!
