How can I motivate my boyfriend to apply for a GREAT job that he is COMPLETELY qualified for!?

Question: How can I motivate my boyfriend to apply for a GREAT job that he is COMPLETELY qualified for!?
My boyfriend has a bachelor’s degree in Television Studies, which he obtained in 2008. Right now, he works in at a warehouse. He actually makes decent money, but he *hates* his job. It’s only 15 minutes from our apartment, though.

I found a job online a few weeks ago that I really want him to apply for! I told him about it and he seemed interested, but didn’t want to apply because it is 45 minutes from our apartment. He has all the qualifications and then some! This would be a great job for him!

Well, I just checked and the job is still open. In my mind, he is crazy for not applying! I know that the commute is a bit much (especially in the winter!), but I don’t see what he has to lose. He complains about his current job and boss every day.

Here’s the job ad:
Master Control Operator
“If you don’t like desk jobs and like to be multi-tasked then we’ve got the perfect job. You must be incredibly organized, follow detail and be efficient. Responsibilities include using multiple PC’s and servers in our control room. Full time & part-time positions available. Broadcast experience and/or technical/computer orientation are helpful, full on-site training offered.
Send resumes to ABC22/FOX44, Attention: Human Resources…”

Did I mention it’s at the ABC/FOX station? Ugh! I can’t stop thinking about what a bonehead he is for ignoring this!

I don’t want to nag him about it, but HOW CAN I MOTIVATE HIM?

I heard this on tv a couple of months back.
The longer you drive to work, the more money you make.
It was related to tacking on odometers on cars that will let the government know how many miles you drive so they can tax you on the miles. Since richer people drive longer to work.

You could always change apartments when the lease is up.
Or even buy a home down the road…

What would you do if your live-in boyfriend of 3 years kept getting insufficient fund notices?

My boyfriend has a pattern of overspending and living paycheck to paycheck. At the beginning of our relationship, I let it go. And then I got really worried about what this could mean for our future. And, now I’m just resigned that we’ll never be that kind of couple who invests together. Is my boyfriend’s irresponsiblity with personal finances something I should be concerned with?

if my boyfriend finances a car loan for me under his name can i register and insure the car under my name?

i live in new york my credit is bad so no one will give me a loan my boyfriend credit is good he can get the loan but i dont want the car to be registered or insured under him i want it to be registered and insured under me is it possible
