I dont have any actual work experience in marketing and advertising but, I do have a lot of ideas that I want to put out there. How do I get into the business? I have tried to get into entry level spots and they say that they want experience. I dont know what else I can show them to prove that I am worth hiring. Any ideas on this would be huge.

I know advertising is in a subset of marketing; when you are advertising, you are marketing but you can be marketing when you are are not necessarily advertising. Is there any main difference between Advertising and Marketing?

Hi Im a Marketing and advertising professional with 10 years of experience in the hispanic market of south america and two years in the latino market of southern california. I have strong knowledge of the Hispanic market and its purchase behaivor. I need to meet an american professional. Why? because I dont speak well english. I need to improve it. I am working on it. Of course I can understand 100% english. But to make business you need to speak english. So that’s my problem. I want to target all the american companies that look for the Hispanic Market here in California. So what do you think about it?

I am going to look at colleges over vacation and I think that my dream job would be something to do with fashion merchandising or being like a buyer. I am not sure what major would be the best for this. I am thinking either marketing or advertising/public relations. Which major would help me with those career goals and also offer me the most flexibility in finding other jobs?
