Is marketing a easy major or is it hard?
I want to go into marketing but i need a taste of what i should expect when i do go into that field…maybe some advice. Do i need to be really good in math because i hate it?

easy
It depends on what school you go to. Go online and find some schools that you are interested in. Look up the specs for a marketing major and if you are still looking for more info email the head of that department. At my school, marketing is a lot of business classes and math classes…. so I would say, yes, you should be good with math. Good luck!
I know that anything business related is easy, because I have a business mind. If you do then it should be easy. There are usually a few math classes (statistics/calculus), but nothing overly complicated.
Red cloud: I’ve had both. I am a junior in college and passed both w/a B and C without taking any math since high school.
If math is not your strong suit then you should steer clear of Marketing. Also, Marketing is not an easy major. DEAR FAKE PLAST, Have you ever taken calculus or statistics ? I didn’t think so, they are not breeze classes!
Whether marketing will be an easy major or not depends on you. No one can tell you if it will be easy or hard for you. Some things come easier to some than others. If you are interested in marketing for a major, talk to a counseler or even some instructors in that area. They will be more helpful than anyone can be to you. They will give you an idea of the courses involved and the work you will need to undertake.
((how can you want to go into marketing without having any idea what it’s about?…you can’t be too serious…you’ve not even gone to the lousy bookstore and read a few books about it…what kind of person chooses a major on a guess?))
My dad did that for a major. If it is easy or hard it is worth it because he is making 2 million a year with it. Sometimes even more.
it must depends on how much you’re interested in…………
There is definitely math involved in Marketing. You’ll need statistics, accounting and possibly calculus. However, the quantitative side of things is balanced out by learning about consumer behavior. The behavioral side of marketing can be very interesting. If you go to a large college with core requirements and enroll in a business major of any kind, you’ll likely have to take the intro marketing course anyway.
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, don’t you know that all those business related qualifications are just a scam the universities use to fleece foreigners? Business is a practical affair not an academic discipline. In comparison to other degree courses it is easy.
